Maxine spends her time creating and thinking about art in the beautiful area of Perth, Western Australia, where she lives and from which she draws inspiration. She enjoys 'exploring every artistic possibility in the quest to bring the hidden and mysterious to life in my works. Although now I paint many subjects, people still want to see my faeries and mermaids the most. My aim above all is to bring realism into mystery, and I hope I keep succeeding!’ Maxine's art is visible in a range of Art books, prints and licensed merchandise around the world.
